ESTATE 23 ANTIQUE BISQUE DOLL MADE FOR FRENCH TRADE - HEINRICH HANDWERCK 109 - MARKED DEP (DEP IS FRENCH FOR PATENTED)-C. This fabulous antique doll is out of an estate, and was made by the Heinrich Handwerck co. Circa 1890 for the French trade. She is in nice condition for the age with a small factory flaw at the top of her crown in the back, which does not rattle, and has kiln dust in the flaw (indicates that it was there before she was fired). She has a small flake on the bottom lashes of her right eye (see pics).Her bisque is creamy and fine, and her body is in amazing condition for the age. She is marked on the back of the head "109 - 12+, DEP, HH, 4". She has a replaced wig, and antique clothing (shoes & socks are modern). It would be difficult to find a kid doll in this condition, and she would make a great gift, or a nice addition to a doll collection. So don't miss out on this one.
