She has pin jointed arms from elbow to shoulder, with gorgeous sculpting of her hands with defined nails and blush. The dress is old, possibly original, with a chemise undergarment.
She has long old stockings with old leather shoes. I have not removed the body covering over the shoulderplate, but it looks fine. The pate is replaced and I believe there is glue residue around the rim of the opening on top of the head and a possible rough spot where the glue was. I did not try to remove the glue. I don't believe this is an issue.
She also has holes in the back of her head which was used to hold the eyes in place during transportation. I have stuffed tissue in there to keep the eyes from moving. The wig is replaced but a lovely one, and I have added a wonderful hat which looks great with her two piece outfit.
I have not seen a doll like this in some time where the bisque is so flawless on the face and the hands are sculpted so well. It is hard to find antique dolls that are in such excellent condition. She is a good doll to add in anyone's collection. I would suggest maybe finding another dress to give her some options, but this one is just fine.
