Heinrich Handwerck #119-13 German Bisque doll circa 1900. Her sweet face features molded brows and delicate painted lashes top and bottom. Her big brown eyes are glass and do not open and close.
She has a dimpled chin and a smile that reveals four porcelain teeth. Her wig of bouncy ringlets is synthetic and glued on with a strong adhesive. Her body is in very good condition with.
No cracks, but some scuffing and wear on the ball joints. One thumb has been replaced and is a little smaller than the original. At some point her hands were colored pink. She wears a newly acquired antique white lawn dress over a newer chemise and bloomers. The dress has two small holes hidden by the pleats. This free spirit is barefoot. I made the circlet for her head, and will include it.
Her stand is also included. PLEASE NOTE: I will be away on Sep. The item "Antique German Handwerck 119-13 24 Bisque Head Doll" is in sale since Tuesday, September 11, 2018. This item is in the category "Dolls & Bears\Dolls\Antique (Pre-1930)\Bisque\German".
