This listing is for a late Victorian bisque and composition doll made in Germany by Heinrich Handwerck. You will be the second owner of this doll. She has a bisque socket style head with an all composition body. Her mouth is open, she has porcelain teeth and she has French style stationary glass brown eyes. Her brows and lashes are painted and she has nice rosy and fat cheeks.
Her original toddler type composition body is ball jointed at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hip and knees. She has her original long blonde human hair wig with a pair of blue silk bows and matching blue silk shoes. She stands about 28" tall and is marked "Heinrich Handwerck on the back of her body. Her head may be marked but the wig is glued onto the bisque head and can't be removed without damage to the wig.
Condition: The silk bows and shoes are faded and fragile. There is wear and some cracks in the composition, especially on the hands and forear, s.
