It is actually a two-piece outfit consisting of a sleeveless dress with matching jacket. She is also wearing a pair of leather tie-up shoes that add a nice coordinating touch to the rustic travel attire. She has a sort of mid-century effect, like Lucy in the movie The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe , as she was dressed to board the train out of London. Inside her head, there is a very old label from a now-defunct doll shop "Casa Juan Estruch - [associated with] Piqué & Furcios" located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The label says that they specialized in work on dolls made of bisque or wax.
" The only online record that this company "Piqué & Furcios existed is in the records of Argentina businesses, where they are listed as a defunct corporation. The following photo props are not included: DOLL STAND, DOG PUSH TOY. It would risk breakage to the doll. Beautiful antique condition -- from a non-smoking environment.
The outfit has a very faint "old wool" smell, and there are some spots of mothing as you can see. I doubt the wig is original to her, but it is in very nice condition -- full and gently curly/wavy down past her shoulders. The composition body shows the usual light wear for its age, but it's in lovely condition with no major issues.I think it may have been gently retouched with some paint at some point in the past -- probably by the doll shop mentioned on the label inside her head. There is a tiny chip near one pierced ear; otherwise no issues with the bisque. The sleep eyes open and close normally, but they ARE a tad sticky. I don't want to mess with them, but you may want to make a minor adjustment so they move more freely. The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind that vintage/antique items always show their age. It would be impossible to mention every tiny detail, so please expect that there will be something about this item (or lot) that's not perfect and may need touch-up. I'LL BE GLAD TO ANSWER.

Not knowing what they're doing. And then, when they realize they've ruined the doll, they return it saying it was defective.BUT HAVING SAID ALL THAT.. I do bend over backwards, attempting to disclose any noteworthy condition issues I can find or think of.
But these are antique and vintage dolls -- so, please understand that they won't be in brand-new condition.
